The Buccaneer soccer team took on Jasper in the first round of Playoffs, at Beaumont’s Doggett Stadium, on Friday, March 20 resulting in a Buccaneer win of 5-1.
Senior Bryan Chavez scored two goals, while senior Jose Rufino and sophomores Max Vargas and Adan Garcia each scored one goal.
“I was super glad to have contributed so much in this playoff game,” Vargas said. “I’m ready to move on to the second round.”
The Bucs will play Brookshire Royal at Grand Oaks High School on Tuesday, March 24 for round 2.
