All-District and All-Region basketball awards were announced online Monday, March. 16.
Junior Cam Dillard and senior Dayvon Wallace were selected to the All-Region III team.
“Congratulations to Cam and Dayvon,” the coaching staff shared. “Both of these guys are hard-working, dependable, smart, high-character players. They are great representatives of our school.”
For the boys district awards, Dillard was named Offensive MVP while Wallace and Colby West earned First Team All-District honors. In addition, Darius Edmonson was named to the Second Team and Evan Callahan received Honorable Mention.
For the girls district awards, Mikeala Quave was named Offensive MVP while Presley Simino earned Newcomer of the Year and Jimena Vargas was named District Utility Player. In addition, Jayda Leday was selected to the First Team while Jaydynn Smith and Hallie Selby received Honorable Mentions.
These athletes will be recognized at the Athletic Banquet on Tuesday, May 12 along with their peers.
