The Bass Club participated in the Toledo Bend tournament on Saturday, Feb. 14 under the direction of sponsor Lana Nelius.
Competitors included seniors Tyrus Bordelon and Ray Stramecki as well as freshmen Brennan Opie, Ben Carter, and Wiley Clement.
Carter and Clement placed 78th out of nearly 300 teams weighing in at 9.86 lbs.
“I was so excited to catch so many fish,” Carter said. “I’m hoping to get a 5 lb bass next tournament.”
The Bass Club will compete at Lake Sam Rayburn on Saturday, Feb 28.
