Buccaneers rebound to defeat Cougars

The Runnin’ Bucs traveled to Buna to face the Cougars on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

Leading scorers, senior Dayvon Wallace with 23 points, juniors Colby West with 20 points, and Cam Dillard with 16 points contributed to another win for the Buccaneers.

“It felt great to make a comeback win and be the top-scoring member of the team,” Wallace said. “I am definitely excited for the next game.”

They ended with a final score of 64-59, leaving their season record at 21-5 overall and 5-1 in District.

The varsity basketball boys will play their next game against Anahuac on Friday, Jan. 23.
