The Buccaneers traveled to Dayton High School for their first scrimmage of the season, against the Broncos, on Friday, Dec. 12.
Sophomore Max Vargas scored two goals in the first half and one in the second.
“I am pleased to have gotten my first hat trick,” Vargas said. “What a better way to start the season.”
Senior Team Captain Ricardo Lopez made the final goal winning with a score of 4-1.
“It felt good scoring after the amount of trial and error the team and I went through,” Lopez said.
The freshman team won 3-1 with scores from Aiden Patino, Andres Esteves, and Jesus Rojas who had an assist from Urijah Rozean.
The varsity and junior varsity teams will play against the La Porte Bulldogs, on Tuesday, Dec. 16, for their first home game.
