Players ‘Shine On and Off Court’

Agustin Granados, Chase Rozean, and Cameron Dillard

Seniors Mckenzie Tinkle and Zoe Selby earned Academic All-State Second Team honors. Online announcements were posted on Thursday, Nov 13.

Seniors Jayda Leday and Kaydence Pinson were also recognized, receiving Academic All-State Honorable Mention.

“I am shocked to receive this award,” Tinkle said. “I am so honored and emotional about the season ending.”

On the athletic side, players were also acknowledged for their standout performances this season. Junior Jimena Vargas received First Team All-District. Senior Kyra Perryman received All-District Outstanding Middle of the Year. Sophomore MaKayla Montoya received All-District Honorable Mention with Tinkle and Leday.

All athletes will receive their individual awards at the Athletic Banquet in the spring.
