The varsity football team traveled to Liberty for the final pre-district game against the Panthers on Friday, Sept. 12th.
Senior safety Reid Todd broke an East Chambers school record for having the most defensive stat Production Chart points after his fumble return touchdown and tackles.
“I was just excited that we won the game,” Todd said. “I’m looking forward to the Orangefield game because it’s gonna beĀ a big one.”
Richard Hale, freshman running back, caught an interception in the second half following his touchdown.
“I was relieved to catch the interception because that guy was big,” Hale said. “You know what I did, though? I was aura farming.”
After winning 30-10, the Bucs will play against the Buna Cougars on Friday, September 26th, in an away game.
