The 2026-2027 honors juniors and seniors were inducted into the National Honor Society on Thursday, May 7.
Sponsor Whitney Dreaden began the ceremony with current NHS Officers including President Mckenzie Tinkle, Vice President Tyler Stevens, Secretary Delilah Perez, Treasurer Hayden LeVeck and Reporter Ray Stramecki.
New members include Tyrus Bordelon, Abbie Bourque, Sam Cathriner, Jocelyn Caudillo, Jayla Coffey, Rylee Fitzgerald, Aiden Franzen, Drew Frederick, Gabriel Garcia, Rebekah Gibson, Aileen Guerrero, Jayden Lawson, Karla Mendieta, Olivia Miner, Jackson Monroe, Stephanie Padron, Efrain Ruiz, Samuel Stramecki, Theodore Stramecki, Kyler Thrash, and Wendy Velaquez.
“The NHS has brought me so many opportunities and I will miss being apart of this group,” Tinkle said. “Although I won’t be here, I know the new inductees have a bright future and will make an impact on our school.”
Current NHS seniors will be recognized by wearing a special white stole at graduation on May 22.
