National Technical Honor Society members volunteered with Keep Bolivar Beautiful for a beach clean-up day on Tuesday, March 24 under the direction of sponsor Jessica Otte.
The post-spring break community service outreach event was followed by lunch, on the intracoastal waterway, at Stingaree Restaurant & Marina compliments of owner, Brad Vratis.
“I’m so thankful for this first NTHS group at EC,” Otte said. “They really have a heart for giving back. A special thanks goes out to Carlis Cole and Brad Vratis for a special day.”
These CTE Honor students will be recognized at the Academic Awards Banquet on Thursday, May 14.
