The tennis team played in the tournament hosted by Bridge City, on Thursday, Feb. 26, under the direction of Coach Kalee Martin, at West Brook High School.
Sophomores Samuel Stramecki and Drew Frederick won in men’s doubles while Bruno Veliz Bove won in men’s singles.
“It was exciting for Sammy and I to take the win,” Frederick said. “I’m ready to see what District has in store for us.”
The next tennis tournament will be on Thursday, March 6 in Beaumont, hosted by Nederland.
