
Area contestants competed in the 2025 Texas Rice Festival Pageant on Saturday, Sept. 27.
East Chambers seniors Mckenzie Tinkle, Kyra Perryman, Maci LeBoeuf, Kaydence Pinson, and Cecelia Gibson competed for the title.
LeBoeuf earned the title of Most Photogenic and 3rd Runner-Up.
“This pageant has been a dream of mine ever since I competed in Junior Queen,” LeBoeuf said. “I am happy to win Miss Photogenic and 3rd Runner-Up and I am thankful for the Texas Rice Festival.”
Tinkle was crowned Texas Rice Festival Queen.
“I am overjoyed for the opportunity to be the Texas Rice Festival Queen,” Tinkle said. “I am thankful that my dedication paid off, and I’m excited to represent the festival.”
The Rice Festival Royal Court will float in the TRF Community Parade on Saturday, Oct. 4 and Tinkle will travel to Crowley, Louisiana to represent Texas at the Oct. 11th International Rice Festival Ball.
